I Want to Search for.....
All these
Searches can be combined to refine your searches. You can search for concerts
that were for a certain period, that were of a certain composition of
compositions, directed and/or performed by certain individuals. The more
selections you make the better will be your results. Open ended searches,
like everything before 1950 for example will be limited to the first 200
results. Happy Searching.

- Important
. Many
of the records for the earlier Concerts and Performances are
somewhat incomplete. In many cases there are no performers
listed. In many other cases there are no first names in the records.
This makes it difficult to tell when there are transitions from a
father to a son, or a mother to a daughter as had happen during the
many years that the Handel and Haydn Society has been in existance.
If the name is fairly common, like Mr. Johnston for instance, its
impossible to tell weather there were more than one Mr. Johnston
performing at the Handel and Haydn Society during a given period.
