Search Results and Printer Friendly Results.

Search Overview Page

The results a a search are displayed in a DataGrid at the bottom of the page. The results are always in chronological order. If there is no information about a Musical Director for a given performance then the section for Director will have the name "UNKNOWN". Likewise if there are no performers listed in the Handel and Haydn Society archives for a given performance, then that section will be blank. Many of the records for the earliest performances (1815 to around 1840) do not include this information.
If you wanted to print these results, as is,  you would also end up printing the page's Search Form along with the search results.  That's all the text boxes, caption text and listboxes.  Since this is not a desirable feature, the Handel and Haydn Society Search Page features a "Printer Friendly" popup.  (Your Web Browser must allow Pop Ups for this feature to work.).

Simply click on the "Results in Popup" button after you get your search results.    This will open a Popup window which will contain a Text only version of your results.

If you'd like you can use the Popup Window's "Print Preview" menu   The Print Preview will give you a better idea of how your search results will look once printed.
